Thoracic & Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation was founded in June 1992. We are a non profit medical research foundation that utilizes the 26 physicians and patient population of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Institute and Ingham Regional Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons.
We have conducted over 250 clinical trials and we are actively recruiting additional cardiovascular, electrophysiology and cardiovascular surgery studies.
We have participated with Duke Clinical Research, Temple University, NIH, Canadian Institutes of Health, University of Michigan, Henry Ford Coordinating Center, Cleveland Clinic Research Consortium, Montreal Heart Institute, Seattle Institute for Cardiac Research, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and TIMI Study Group.
